SAPHO: diagnostic criteria

Principal criterion

Aseptic multifocal osteomyetilis or caused by propionibacterium acnes

Lesser criteria

1 - Osteoarticular

Acute or chronic joint involvement

Monostotic or polyostotic aseptic osteitis

2 - Cutaneous Palmoplantar pustulosis

Severe acne

Hidradenitis suppurativa

SAPHO is diagnosed in the clinical radiological examination finds:

One or other form of the principal criterion


An association of 2 lesser criteria
