The intermedia effect in the CTC(1)

In CTC(1), there exists the intermedia effect between columns 23 and 24 such that, for $i=1,2,\cdots ,48$ ,

(i) if $l\left(i,23\right)+l\left(i,24\right)=108$ , then $l\left(i,23\right)=l\left(47-i,24\right)$ ,

(ii) if $l\left(i,23\right)+l\left(i,24\right)=106$ , then $l\left(i,23\right)+2=l\left(47-i,24\right)$ .
