To shed light on the relationship between the experience of joy, self-efficacy, and stress reaction in nursing students during a practicum and to identify whether there are any differences between students in different years.

To understand to what degree nursing practicums can be a stressor for Spanish nursing students, and identify their stressors.

To elucidate stress levels in university students in Saudi Arabia and their coping behaviors.

To shed light on the relationship between stress from a nursing practicum and satisfaction with learning in nursing students.

To elucidate stress in nursing students participating in a clinical practicum.

Aim

Ÿ A total of 86 fourth-year students who had completed all practicums and 82 second-year students who had competed a basic nursing practicum in the nursing department of University A.

Ÿ The study was conducted from July to October 2016.

Ÿ A total of 450 nursing students.

Ÿ The study was conducted from January to April 2016.

Ÿ A total of 121 nursing students.

Ÿ A total of 285 nursing students

Ÿ The study was conducted in January 2014.

Ÿ A total of 121 second-year students in the Department of Nursing I who had completed Geriatric Nursing Practicum I.

Ÿ A total of 118 third-year students in the Department of Nursing I who had competed all practicums.

Ÿ The study was conducted from November to December 2014.
