Causes

Age-specific, associated conditions (PUD bleeding, varices, erosive esophagitis, and vomiting-induced hematemesis)

Crohn’s disease, ulcerative colitis, hemorrhoids, anal fissures, and Meckel diverticulum

Esophagogastroduodenoscopy

Colonoscopy
