1. What could be responsible for the current ineffective working relationship between the JV partners in the Nigerian oil industry?

a. A loose management structure whereby each partner company maintain their management and leadership style.

According to Delma (1999) government of these developing countries sees joint ventures as a way of attracting capital, technology, and managerial skills that IOC brings to the projects into their country. These individual motives seem not to be easily realizable under the existing framework; this is the problem with the JV in the Nigeria oil Industry.
