Dosage

It is recommended that adults take 500 - 1000 mg orally per day. In children, the recommended dose is 10 - 15 mg/kg bw; no more than five doses should be administered over 24 h. The recommended dose for children is 10 - 15 mg/kg bw, administered no more than five times a day.
