ST: In the present dynasty, the license to fish belongs in the class of miscellaneous taxes. Each of the twelve provinces has a fixed amount of this tax. As to the license fee, each license in Kinchou (Fungtien) costs annually a half tael of silver. But each net in Pehtuna (Kirin) must pay twenty taels. (Chen, 2005: p. 695)
