Buluba Hospital	Hospital with over 100 acres of land adjacent to the Lake Victoria shores and habitats to the Grey Crowned Cranes	Hospital community composed of members from the surrounding community numbering over 50	Trees for Conservation and restoration of fish ponds	Community will plant trees adjacent to Lake Shores, leaving Buffer Zone for Grey Crowned Cranes. They will benefit from selling trees, grow crops under them, leading to better environment/ soil fertility	Buffer zone protection to be done by the trees planted by the communities will help prevent encroachment on Grey Crowned Habitats and this will cause restoration of the species’ populations and habitats
Jomo Ikata Nkombe	Individual large-scale sugarcane grower with over 300 acres land in Nkombe	1individual with over 300 acres of land adjacent to the Lake Victoria Shores	Trees for conservation of the habitats	The land owner expects to get commercial benefit from the trees in future and that the trees will enhance soil fertility	The trees planted adjacent to the lake shores will prevent encroachment in buffer zone and therefore enable restoration of Grey Crowned Crane Habitats, Breeding grounds
Arise Africa International	An/NGO engaged in Agroforestry along the Lake shores, orphanage and a school in Masaka	200 members in Buwere, Masaka and Mbirambira	Agroforestry involving fruit trees and Apiculture with the lake adjacent communities	Apiculture, fruit trees will provide income and divert communities from cultivation of crops in Lake Buffer zone habitat of Grey Crowned Cranes	Apiculture and fruit tree growing will lead to better farming practice adjacent to the Lake Shores and preserve Habitats of Grey Crowned Cranes and this will lead to conservation
Mayuge Sugar Company	Company for whom the Sugar Cane Out growers supply sugar cane	Company with 4500 out grower farmers adjacent to the Lake Victoria, in NKombe. Kitovu, Bukukenye Masaka	Ecotourism, seed, financial, incentives, sensitization, training in appropriate practices, policies, laws will reduce encroachment, community will demarcate buffer zones with trees	Out growers sensitized will not engage in destructive cultivation of the Crane Habitats and hence will lead to conservation	Continue sensitization, company committed of farmers to appropriate farming practices, construct waste management plant to reduce waste disposal in the lake impacting negatively on habitat of Grey Crowned Cranes, will lead to restoration
Mayuge Sugar Cane Out growers Association	Masil Cane Growers farmers supplying sugar cane to Mayuge Sugar Industry and growing their sugar cane in villages including; in NKOMBE. KITOVU, BUKENYE, AND	4500 individual farmers in Masaka	Knowledge of law requiring 200 m of lake buffer zone protection will make farmers stop encroachment restoration	Sensitization, capacity building trainings, commitment to planting indigenous grass to restore Grey Crowned Crane Habitats	Sensitization, commitment of farmers to appropriate farming and waste management practices, will reduce encroachment on Buffer Zones and cause restoration of Grey Crowned Cranes Habitats.
