Patient presented with progressive headache, nausea, and vomiting

MRI on subsequent day showed the presence of an expansile lesion in the pons, medulla and cervico-medullary junction with extension into the middle and inferior cerebellar peduncle on left side 1.2 × 1.0 cm and 1.3 × 1.0 cm.

EBRT, 54 Gy in 30 fractions for 6 weeks was given

18 March 2014 (6-week post radiotherapy)

No clinical improvement

Contrast study showed two nodular enhancing lesions in the medulla, measuring about 1.1 × 1.0 cm and 1.3 × 1.0 cm

Temozolomide 250 mg once in a day for 5 days for three months
