NORMAL

The patient’s vital functions are normal, and he is able to do everything without assistance.

GOOD

The patient’s vital functions are almost normal, and he is still able to walk, eat and take care of himself without assistance.

BAD

The patient’s vital functions are impaired, and he no longer able to walk, eat or care for himself without assistance.

PRE-MORIBUND

The patient is in very poor condition, totally bedridden and has obnoxious consciousness, but is able to eat with assistance.

MORIBUND

The patient is in very poor general condition, totally bedridden an in vigorous or deep coma.
