Personnel

· Minimum 2 Senior Anaesthetists, 2 Anaesthesia Nurses, 2 Surgeons, 2 Scrub nurses (Team)

· PPE required:

· Anaesthesia personnel: PAPR + N95 masks + disposable gowns + Double gloves

· All other personnel: in OT—PAPR + N95 masks + disposable gowns in OT. Outside OT—N95 + goggles + gowns + Double gloves

· Standby personnel in DSOT bank: 1 Anaesthesia, 1 AU nurse, 1 Scrub nurse all gowned up as appropriate

· All to be in appropriate PPE attire prior to the patient’s arrival.

· Team Huddle between Nursing, Surgeons and Anaesthesia personnel is required before patient’s arrival:

² Fully stocked Anaesthetic drug trolley as per EOT including muscle relaxants, emergency drugs, syringes, IV and IA cannulae

² 1 litre Plasmalyte and Normal Saline fluid bags X 5 each

² Plastic Wrapped Ultrasound Machine

² Bair Hugger

² Stethoscope

· Outside OT:

² fully-equipped Emergency Trolley with Defibrillator

² Level 1 fluid infusor TM
