・ The stability studies demonstrated that the cocrystals were more stable towards water vapor than the pristine quercetin.

・ The antioxidant activity of quercetin was improved through cocrystallization with edaravone and kojic acid.

・ The best inhibitory activity to pathophysiological proteases was observed for the cocrystals of Qu with acetylcytosine, carnitine, and kojic acid. These complexes were the most potent inhibitors of thrombin.

・ About two times better cytotoxic activity to human cervical cancer cells (HeLa) and human colon cancer cells (Caco-2) in comparison with quercetin itself was observed for quercetin in complex with kojic acid.

・ The dissolution rate of quercetin-nicotinamide cocrystal was significantly higher than that of quercetin cocrystal.

・ The quercetin-nicotinamide cocrystal can significantly increase the oral absorption of quercetin by nearly 4 times.
