| enjoin what is best (right) | يأمرون بالمعروف | 1 |
| forbid what is evil (wrong), | وينهون عن المنكر | 2 |
| they perform As-Salât | ويقيمون الصلاة (2) | 3 |
| perform As-Salât | أقاموا الصلاة | 4 |
| give the Zakât | ويؤتون الزكاة | 5 |
| spend out of that which We have bestowed on them, secretly and openly | أنفقوا مما رزقناهم سرا وعلانية | 6 |
| obey Allâh and His Messenger | ويطيعون الله ورسوله | 7 |
| he then who knows that what has been revealed unto you from your Lord is the truth | يعلم أن ما أنزل إليك من ربك الحق | 8 |
| fulfil the Covenant of Allâh | يوفون بعهد الله | 9 |
| break not the Mîthâq (bond, treaty, covenant) | لا ينقضون الميثاق | 10 |
| join that which Allâh has commanded to be joined | يصلون ما أمر الله به أن يوصل | 11 |
| you strive hard in the Cause of Allâh with your wealth and your lives | تجاهدون في سبيل الله بأموالكم وأنفسكم | 12 |
| defend evil with good | يدرؤون بالحسنة السيئة | 13 |
| they shall enter and those who acted righteously from among their fathers, and their wives, and their offspring | يدخلونها (3) ومن صلح من أباءهم وأزواجهم وذرياتهم | 14 |
| enter Paradise, because of that (the good) which you used to do | ادخلوا الجنة بما كنتم تعملون | 15 |
| will say: All the praises and thanks be to Allâh | قالوا الحمد لله | 16 |
| Reclining therein on raised thrones (2) | متكئين فيها على الأرائك (2) | 17 |
| call for fruits in abundance and drinks | يدعون فيها بفاكهة كثيرة وشراب | 18 |
| Allâh will be pleased with them | رضي الله عنهم | 19 |
| And they are pleased with Him | رضوا عنه | 20 |
| the men of understanding | أولوا الألباب | 21 |
| best of creatures | خير البرية | 22 |
| bracelets of gold (2) | يحلون فيها من أساور من ذهب (2) | 23 |
| And pearls | ولؤلؤا | 24 |
| they will have therein all that they wish | لهم فيها ما يشاؤون | 25 |
| they will have therein their sustenance, morning and afternoon | لهم رزقهم فيها بكرة وعشيا | 26 |
| they will wear green garments of fine and thick silk | يلبسون ثيابا خضرا من سندس وإستبرق | 27 |
| their garments therein will be of silk | لباسهم فيها حرير | 28 |
| where toil will touch us not nor will weariness will touch us | لا يمسنا فيها نصب ولا يمسنا فيها لغوب | 29 |
| wives restraining their glances (desiring none except their husbands), and of equal ages | قاصرات الطرف أتراب | 30 |
