Pollen

19 recovered taxa, 6 identified species and 13 only identified down to the genus level and 1 unidentified form. The pollen grains here consist of both the gymnosperms represented abundantly by the genus Classopollis and the angiosperms represented by the genera Retitricolpites and Retimonocolpites all of which are derivatives of land bearing plants and constitute 51% of the entire palynomorphs assemblage.

Spores

These include the miospores from pteridophytic plants which are represented by Cicatricosisporites and Cyathidites.13 taxa of the pteridopytic spores were recovered but only 6 species were identified and the rest only down to level of the genus with one unidentified spore all constituting 45% of the entire palynological assemblage.

Fungal remains

Fusiformisporites is the lone fungal spore encountered together with some unidentified fruiting bodies of fungal origin and filamentous hyphae (0.6%)

Archritarch

The Archritarch are represented by Acrostichumaureum and Leiosphaeridia sp. (0.6%)

Dinoflagilate cysts

The dinoflagilates cysts are typically represent by the Spiniferites and Lingulodinium sp. with several unidentifiable Dinoflagellate cysts making up only 2.8% of the entire palynomorphs population.
